At Dove River and Cethana Tasmanian copper-gold properties exploration activities undertaken during the period included low cost geological mapping and planning for further exploration and evaluation activity on the licence.
October 31, 2008 Reported that assay results from the two holes drilled into the Devon prospect at Dove River confirms the Devon target has the potential to contain a porphyry-style low grade, bulk tonnage copper/gold deposit. Exploration is expected to include a geophysical survey of the Five Mile Rise Goldfield. This survey will aim to identify extensions of mineralization and porphyry-related alteration intersected in previous drilling.
