The company reported that reconnaissance drilling was planned to commence on 16 December at the Drummond gold project, located 300 km southwest of Mackay in Central Queensland, following signing of a drilling contract and completion of site clearance work. The initial 40 hole programme was expected to be completed by the end of January, weather permitting.

The report informed that whilst assays are still to be fully assessed there were no highly anomalous gold assays reported from the drilling. The highest value of 0.2 g/t Au occurred within a pyritic conglomerate unit and may reflect nearby mineralisation. Gold bearing pyritic quartz vein material which was the target of this program appears to occur as pebbles within the conglomerate rather than as veins as had been predicted.
