Latest Information October 31, 1999 12 holes had tested the DC North mineralized horizon over a 13,500 ft strike length and 2 holes had tested a large alteration zone underlying the DC North horizon. DC99-62, 66, 67, and 69 tested the Discovery zone along strike to the east, and down-dip. All holes intersected disseminated sulphide mineralization. Hole DC99-65, drilled 2,500 ft to the west of the Fosters zone in an area of strong soil geochemistry, intersected 1.7 m of massive sulphide averaging 7.9% Zn, 4.0% Pb, 128.4 g/t Ag and 0.48 g/t Au. DC99-63 was drilled in the Fosters zone and was terminated prematurely within a fault structure near the top of the mineralization. October 6, 1999 Atna Resources and Grayd Resource Corporation reported results from the 10,260 ft, 14-hole, diamond drill program on the Dry Creek volcanogenic massive sulphide project, located in the Bonnifield district of Alaska. Twelve drill holes tested the DC North mineralized horizon over a 13,500 ft strike length and the other 2 holes tested a large alteration zone underlying the DC North horizon. Results from drilling along the DC North horizon did not meet Atna's required objectives and Atna has terminated its option to earn an interest in the Dry Creek and Anderson Mountain properties. |
