Mallee Gold has conducted geochem soil sampling of the tenement, which indicates grades of up to 97 ppb are present on the tenement. A trial dry blowing exercise was conducted by the Company in November 2006 in the north west corner of the project. Grades up to 6 g/t of fine alluvial gold were found. There have also been reports of various sized gold nuggets being found, indicating that this area known as
“The Sophie” is possibly in the proximity of a primary gold
