Goldminco announced an update on it’s recent exploration activities at the Tick Hill, Blayney and Temora projects in Australia. Highlights on the Tick Hill Project include the delineation of a 1 km x 200 m copper/gold/cobalt soil geochemical anomaly at the Spring Creek prospect. On the Blayney Project, a strong IP chargeability anomaly associated with a resistivity high was identified at the Bluebird prospect and an IP survey targeting structurally controlled copper/gold mineralised systems below the Tertiary basalt cover was commenced. On the Temora Project, an 8,000 m drill program is planned.

Assay results were received for a program of 6 x 200 m RC drill holes DURC0052-57), designed to test for potentially economic mineralisation associated with geochemical soil anomalies identified in the previous quarter. Holes DURC0052 - DURC0054 were drilled to test the soil anomaly overlying the Central Lode. These holes intercepted a consistent mafic mineralized lode 70 – 80 m down hole. Copper grades in this lode show an increase in tenor to the north toward DURC0052. Holes DURC0055 and DURC0056 were drilled to test a soil anomaly overlying the Perecles lode. A narrow mineralised zone was intercepted in DURC0055, drilled under the peak of the anomaly, with no significant mineralisation intercepted in the southern hole (DURC0056). Hole DURC0057 was drilled to test a moderate soil anomaly in the vicinity of the poorly exposed Macgregor lodes. A significant intercept of 11 m @ 2.71% Cu was intercepted from 86 m down hole.

At Tick Hill, Barrick Gold completed six reverse circulation holes testing soil geochemical copper anamalies that were defined in the previous quarter. In the 4th quarter of 2007, Barrick (Osborne) Pty Ltd, reported their 8th quarterly report, 4th qtr 2007. Work carried out during the period included a resource estimate for the Ivanhoe lode and soil geochemical sampling east of the Ivanhoe lode. The resource estimate on the Ivanhoe Lode, at a 0.5% Cu cut-off grade, indicates an inferred resource of 830,000 t @ 1.17% Cu, and 0.18 g/t Au. During the June quarter of 2007, Barrick completed an extensive RC and diamond drilling program to test the down dip and along strike continuity of the Ivanhoe Lode to allow for calculation of inferred and indicated resource estimation. A program of 19 holes using a combination of reverse circulation (1540m) and diamond drilling (1020m) was completed to test the Ivanhoe Lode down to a vertical depth of 120 metres below surface. Significant results include: DUNQ038 28m @ 0.63% Cu from 254m DUNQ043 10m @ 1.64% Cu and 0.07 g/t Au from 115m DURC048 22m @ 2.05% Cu and 0.21 g/t Au from 27m DUNQ051 12m @ 1.95% Cu and 0.34 g/t Au from 26m.
