Giralia Resources announced assay results from late 2009 exploration drilling at the Earaheedy iron ore project, located in Western Australia. Mapping and rock sampling has confirmed high-grade outcropping hematite mineralization. Key finding include 12m at 55.5% iron within 30m at 51.5% iron in Hole RCE174.
A 121 hole RC drilling program completed to test beneath hills with outcropping hematite mineralisation at the greenfields Earaheedy Project. Strong hematite alteration noted to significant depths in many holes. First assays just received are positive, including 20 metres @ 55.7% Fe from 20 m in hole RCE047, and 8 metres @ 58.7 % Fe from surface in hole RCE088 from first hills drilled.

Completed an initial drilling program during the quarter comprising 45 widely spaced vertical RC drill holes for a total of 2,803 m. Grades in the gravels reach 57.2% Fe. A portion of the hematitic gravel zone in hole RCE004, which returned an overall intersection of 32 m @ 43.3% Fe from 12 m.
