Latest Information
September 30, 2008
Drilling programs were completed during the quarter to test geochemical and geophysical targets. Fourteen reconnaissance RC drill-holes were completed for 1,790m. Twelve holes tested various surface geochemical and electromagnetic targets near the basal contact of the Eastman Bore mafic-ultramafic intrusion for Ni-Cu-PGM mineralization. One of the holes from the eastern part of the intrusion intersected significant Pt+Pd+Au mineralization. Highlights: ERC075: 18m @ 0.40g/t Pt, 0.86g/t Pd & 0.12g/t Au (1.39g/t Pt+Pd+Au) from 32m, including 7m @ 0.63g/t Pt, 1.40g/t Pd & 0.16g/t Au (2.18g/t Pt+Pd+Au) from 40m
June 30, 2008
Ground EM surveys were completed over a number of coincident airborne VTEM and soil geochemical Ni-Cu-PGM anomalies on both projects. A number of conductors were identified and a drilling program has been designed to test these.
October 10, 2007
Reported the following updates: Several large copper-platinum-palladium-gold soil anomalies have been defined over a strike length of 5km in the base of the Eastman Bore Mafic-Ultramafic Intrusion; Most of the soil anomalies contain moderate and/or strong VTEM anomalies indicating potential for massive sulphides; Historic rock-chip sampling in some of the soil anomalies recorded high values of copper (up to 16.7%) and platinum + palladium + gold (up to 0.88g/t).
