June 30, 1997 A 344 ft long, inclined diamond drill hole was completed intersecting 2.3 ft at 14.3 oz/t Au. A second drill hole was being drilled. January 31, 1997 Surface drilling was confirming the continuity of the vein at depth. Drill core indicated the possibility of a disseminated gold stockworks. Assays of this disseminated stockwork ranged between 0.0058 oz/t Au to 0.0145 oz/t Au. During the fourth quarter 1996, a 262 ft long adit was driven to intersect the vein. Two short cross cuts confirmed the presence of the vein widths of 2.3 to 4.9 ft. In 1987, a two phase program of trenching and diamond drilling established indicated reserves of 161,255 tons at 0.321 oz/t Au. |
