Breakwater Resources Ltd. reports that operations at its' Mochito Mine in Honduras have been unaffected by the change in government there yesterday. There has been no disruption to the operations nor are any anticipated at this time. All production and shipping schedules are intact. The company states it is monitoring the situation closely and will update on any change to the current status.
Breakwater Resources has resumed normal milling operations at the Mochito mine, located in Honduras. The company is currently depositing tailings in the Pozo Azul tailings impoundment area. On October 18, 2007, the Company announced that it had discovered a discharge of water from the newly commissioned Soledad tailings impoundment area which necessitated a suspension of milling at Mochito.
Reported that milling operations at the mine have returned to normal levels and is currently depositing tailings in the Pozo Azul tailings impoundment area.
