A positive feasibility study was announced. The study predicted a minimum 10 year mine life at a production rate of 154 tonnes per day from a starter pit of 507,000 tonnes which would average 73% magnetite (52.6% iron) and 0.91% copper.

Head grades from the limited production to date, average 1.23% Cu, 3.0 g/t Ag, 0.2 g/t Au and 57% Fe. No tails were produced due to the low silicate content and lack of iron sulphides in the ore. Drilling was to continue in mid Feb.
