Emu Nickel announced that diamond drilling has been completed at the Emu Lake Joint Venture north-east of Kalgoorlie, Australia(Xstrata Nickel is earning 662/3% and and Emu Nickel NL earning 331/3%)). Assay results have been returned for ELD042A confirming the presence of a new nickel sulphide occurrence at Binti South, about 1 km south of the Binti Gossan. The hole intersected 0.21 m grading 6.32% nickel from 282.28 m and 1.57 m grading 1.14% nickel from 393.43 m including 0.45 m grading 2.67% nickel from 393.43m.
Emu Nickel announced that diamond drilling at the Emu Lake joint venture 70 km northeast of Kalgoorlie, Australia, (Emu Nickel earning 33.3% and Xstrata Nickel earning 66.7%) has intersected nickel sulphides to the north, south and within the Binti Gossan Zone, indicating that this mineralisation remains open to the north and identifying a potential new nickel sulphide position 300.0 m to the south which is open at depth. Highlights include hole ELD 036 intersecting 3.70% nickel, 1.33% copper over 1.58 meters from 320.56 meters.
Released the results for the last hole of the current 7-hole drilling programme at the Binti Gossan Zone which intersected nickel sulphides with significant mineralization. Results includse from hole ELD32 with 1.82m @ 1.94% Ni and 0.14% Cu from 557.21m including 0.20m @ 4.42% Ni from 557.21m and 0.87m @ 2.21% Ni from 558.16m. The drilling has confirmed the presence of massive nickel sulphide stringers and disseminations over a distance of 200m in the lower sulphide zone on the ultramafic contact, open down plunge.
