IAMGOLD Corporation reported its unaudited interim consolidated financial and operating results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2010. Highlights include: Net earnings of Can$40.8 million (Can$0.11 per share); quarterly gold production was 256,000 attributable ounces of gold; Essakane commercial production began on July 16, 2010 with production of 47,000 ounces (attributable ounces of 42,000) at a cash cost of $459 per ounce during the third quarter.
