June 30, 2007 Metallurgical test work was completed on the Zelica ore. Samples consisted of RC drill chips, PQ diamond core and samples taken from trenches within the pit floor. Belminco Pty Ltd (Mineral Industry Consultants) conducted the test work in conjunction with AMMTEC Ltd. The conclusions drawn from the test work are that the Zelica ore is highly amenable for heap leaching provided that the ore is crushed to 12.5mm and agglomerated with cement. Recoveries from column leaching were very high, with final recoveries of 92% with 88% within the first 10 days. Dumps associated with the old workings were systematically sampled to ascertain the potential of the dumps to be considered a resource. Dumps which returned potentially economic grades, and were considered large enough, were then resampled using an excavator which opened up the dumps to allow more detailed sampling. Some of the more significant grades include 94.9 ppm Au, 7.43 ppm Au, 5.72 ppm Au, and 4.72 ppm Au.The tonnages associated with potentially economic grades are too small to warrant trucking to Kalgoorlie for treatment.
July 7, 2006 Announced that drilling confirmed gold mineralization at the proposed open pit. Highlighted results included 12.0m @ 2.64 g/t Au from 1m; 11.0m @ 3.13 g/t Au from surface; 11.0m @ 2.68g/t Au for 35m and 10.0m @ 1.98g/t Au from 5.0 meters.
