Announced that a helicopter-supported program of surface sampling has been completed Downs Prospect (E45/2585) and the Comet East Prospect (E45/2480) in the East Pilbara. At Corunna Downs, surface rock chip sampling has produced results from 31% Fe up to 62.5% Fe, with an average of 60.6% Fe across four samples collected along the eastern edge of the jaspillite sequence, clearly indicating DSO (direct shipping ore) grade potential. Following a review of past exploration work, and in view of increasing globa ore, further exploration will be fast potential and subsurface magnetite potential at the Coru. At Comet East, strongly anomalous grades of copper and zinc were Petersen prospect.

The next exploration program on the project will focus on collating and reviewing all historic data on the Tabletop, Victory, Zone D, and Triberton prospect areas centered on gold mineralization; Mapping and sampling at Tabletop and Triberton prospects with the view to test with RC drilling; Heritage survey on access tracks and drill sites; And Clearing of access tracks and drill pads.
As of Jun30//06, a work programme consisting of geological mapping and detailed systematic surface sampling, soils and rock chips, covering the lateral extent of the One Tree Hill gossan horizon is being undertaken to assist in the definition of drill targets.
