Virginia Gold Mines has reported sampling results from its James Bay properties in Quebec, including the Duquet, Lac Fagnant, Corvet West, Gayot, and Payne Bay, Caniapiscau, and Apple projects. Channel sampling on the Duquet project returned up to 7.2% zinc, 0.68% copper, and 9.3 g/t silver over 0.5 m, and 7.24 g/t gold over 2.1 m. At Lac Fagnant, assays included 18 g/t gold over 0.54 m, 19.9 g/t gold over 1.34 m, and 4.6% zinc over 1.34 m. At Corvet West, assays included 1.54 g/t gold over 5.0 m and 1.49 g/t gold over 1.0 m. At the Payne project, drilling on the Amaruk zone returned 6.36 g/t gold over 5.9 m.
