Latest Information  April 10, 2000 Corriente Resources Inc. announced that it has discontinued its option agreement on its Famatina gold project in Argentina. Drilling to date has failed to show the desired level of continuity in the prospect's vein targets. July 26, 1999 Corriente Resources Inc announced that Pacific Rim Mining Corp. will not be proceeding with the Fantasma purchase option. June 30, 1999 Hole PF2, drilled in the central target area, intersected the Laderas fault zone over a 14 m interval (from 66 - 80 m), which graded 147.9 g/t silver and no significant gold. Hole PF1 tested a broad, flat-lying CSAMT anomaly along strike with the Oculto deposit. This anomaly turned out to represent a fault block of dense unaltered andesite flows. |
