The completed its first hole on the property. The hole was drilled vertically to a total depth of 137.7 m in order to test a subcircular magnetic anomaly located in Defeat Lake. Preliminary field reports indicate
that below 62.5 metres of water and lake sediment, shattered and altered granite were encountered to a depth of 130.5 m. From the 130.5-m level to the 132.5-m level, material that resembles sandstone or possibly a tuff was encountered. This unit, which contains fragments of brecciated country rock, will be submitted for petrographic analysis in order to provide a better understanding of the origin of this material.
