The mine sold the remainder of its gold inventory and production for the quarter consists of gold that was previously in circuit. The reclamation process started during the quarter.

119,588 tonnes were mined at 0.52 g/t Au producing 2,380 ounces gold at cash costs of $589 per ounce. Mining at the Fazenda Nova Mine stopped in May 2007 as the Mine is at the end of its mine life.

Production for the quarter was 4,047 ounces at an average cash cost of $551 per ounce. The mine recorded an operating loss of $1.9 million for the quarter. Production from the mine is expected to decline over the next few months as the mine reaches the end of its mine life.
