Latest Information April 30, 2002 Refinery autoclave was successfully commissioned and is now in operation. The Canmine Refinery has 14 major units that are systematically being commissioned and brought into operation. To date, this has been achieved on 10 units with work on the remaining 4 units well underway. It is anticipated that Canmine's target date for substantial completion of commissioning (on or around April 30, 2002) will be achieved. Following commissioning the company will begin to ramp-up production at the refinery. April 30, 2002 Achieved two milestones toward starting the Canmine Refinery which is on schedule and budget. In late March, the initial processing of cobalt-nickel feedstock began at the Canmine Refinery.This milestone tested a new Canmine design for front-end loading and grinding. The new design worked perfectly and is now in daily operation.In early April, 2002, the company's consulting project engineers were able to pass operational control over to the Canmine plant management team.
