Exploration early in the quarter undertook reconnaissance over selected areas of EL24639 which focussed on locating airborne radiometric anomalies within the south-eastern portion of the tenement. Reconnaissance of the area revealed that the prospective lithologies occur dominantly beneath the black soil alluvial plains of the Finniss River. Anomalous spectrometer readings of up to 1450cps were returned from this initial reconnaissance. Further sampling of this horizon and underlying bedrock is planned to determine potential for economic uranium.
