Plans also included machine trenching the Northwest and Diewum Zones, in the vicinity of the Central Zone. This trenching was to be the last phase of exploration prior to the commencement of a two stage 3,000 m diamond drill program on the three mineralized structures. Each of the structures measured between 100 and 150 m in width and are open in length, each one having been traced over a minimum of 1 km. November 30, 1996 The Forestry Department Ministry in Ghana temporarily suspend drilling operations. Drilling was to continue upon the issuance of the permits. Prior to the stoppage request, a 100 m hole of a planned 5,000 m diamond drill program had been completed.
