Queensland Mining Corporation announced drill results at Flamingo copper-gold project located north-northwest of Cloncurry, northwest Queensland, Australia. Highlights include hole FL10RC21 which intersected 17.0 m at 2.13% copper, 0.45 g/t gold and 1.31 g/t silver from 22.0 m, including 2.0 m at 12.2% copper, 2.24 g/t gold and 4.95 g/t silver from 31.0 m. The drill program at Flamingo consists of 55 RC holes totaling 4907 m and was designed to follow up the high grade copper zone discovered by the drilling program undertaken in late 2009.

Highlights include hole FL10RC02 intersecting 11.0 m grading 4.8% coppe, 0.62 g/t gold, 1.51 g/t silver from 34.0 m including 2.0 m grading 23.2% copper, 2.26 g/t gold and 4.25 g/t silver from 35.0 m. The recently completed 2010 drill program at Flamingo consists of 55 RC holes totalling 4907 m. It was designed to follow up the high grade copper zone discovered by the Company’s drilling program undertaken in late 2009.
Queensland Mining announced maiden Inferred resource estimate at shallow depth below surface (maximum depth of 60m) of 117,000 tonnes at 6.0% copper and 1.8 g/t gold. Mineralisation has been identified over a length of 300 metres and remains open along strike and at depth.
