The Phase I drill program was completed. 22 holes were completed for a total depth of 2,500 m. Notable assays included 1.96 g/t Pt+Pd+Au, 0.11% Cu and 0.04% Ni over 24 m, 1.10 g/t Pt+Pd+Au, 0.21% Cu and 0.04% Ni and 0.63 g/t Pt+Pd+Au, 0.15% Cu and 0.06% Ni over 43 m.

Sparton Resources cancelled the private placement announced on October 3, 2000, and arranged another private placement of 1.5 million units at a price of CDN$0.20 per unit. The proceeds will be used, in part, for drilling program on Folson Lake PGE property, Sudbury, Ontario.
