Latest Information March 31, 2008 Reported to have conducted a a 791-metre drilling program. Results were being compiled. December 31, 2004 Conducted 710 m of drilling with a best intersection of 11.0 m grading 0.14% Cu in hole DDHF-04-01. September 16, 2004 Line cutting followed by complementary I.P.-Resistivity surveys, geological mapping, prospection and sampling are being completed on both the Fourniere and Bruell properties (see separate listings). Follow up diamond drilling will be realized on the best-selected targets in order to define and extend known mineralizations, which were previously recognized. Chosen isolated coincident (geophysical and/or geochemical and/or geological) targets will also be tested by drilling. On the Fourniere property, diamond drilling is planned for early November 2004. In 1996 and 1997, drilling returned no significant mineralization but testing the previously known copper showings, two new occurrences of Cu were discovered: (1) The first occurrence consists of disseminated Cu sulfides in an altered syenite that was encountered in 6 contiguous holes. The best intersections were: 0.402% Cu over 66.93 meters in hole 97-02 and 10.7 m at 0.45% Cu in the deepest portion of hole 96-09. These holes were not systematically assayed for precious metals. (2) The second occurrence was encountered in Hole 96-04 which intersected 0.4 m at 1.28% Cu near the main ultramafic unit. These samples, however, were not assayed for Ni. |
