Firestone Ventures has discovered a gold occurrence on the Four Corners property, Finlayson Lake area, Yukon Territory. The showing was discovered during the course of the company's exploration program for emeralds. A representative chip sample across two siliceous grayish green boulders each measuring 70 cm in diameter returned 4.28 g/t gold, 2.64 g/t silver, 513 ppm nickel, 954 ppm chromium, and elevated arsenic and antimony values. Ten soil samples collected in the immediate vicinity of the siliceous alteration zone returned 10 to 83 ppb gold. The gold showing occurs as a 1 to 3 m wide concentration of gray green silica within an 8 m wide talus train mainly comprising white quartz-flooded material. The talus train extends for 100 m and is hosted within Devonian chlorite schist.
