Property NewsSeptember 30, 1996 Drill hole 2 returned 32.58 g/t gold and 204.03 g/t silver over 1.2m. 1 cross vein sample returned 17 g/t gold and 166 g/t silver over 1m. Underground drilling continues with 3 additional holes planned. August 31, 1996 An ongoing surface and underground diamond drill program is underway to expand the known reserves. Initial plans have commenced for production, once drilling has finished. Drilling on the D zone has encountered an intersection of 1.16m grading 9.95 g/t gold and 38.3 g/t silver. Surface exploration has led to the discovery of a second and third vein west of the newly discoverd Spring Green Vein. A sampling program on the Gladiator and War Eagle surface vein exposures has indicated areas of ore grade mineralization over mineable widths. Both zones have a strike length over 900 m. April 30, 1996 An engineering report reccomending refurbishing of surface facilities, rehabilitation of the mine workings and 1,500 m of drilling had been acquired.
The property was developed by a 91 m ramp and on-site mill and brought in to production in Oct/87, and closed in Mar/88 after processing 6,270 tonnes.
