Latest Information December 31, 2007 Analysis of existing geophysical data was completed. The review has indicated that if the two tenement areas are deemed prospective for base metals, specifically intrusive style nickel/copper from geological assessment, then the next phase of geophysical exploration recommended would be an electromagnetic survey. 58 samples were taken on a fieldtrip following up and validating targets generated from a recent geochemical data review. Assay results and interpretation are expected in Q1 2008. March 31, 2007 The Heritage Survey was completed, covering proposed drill sites on E69/1963 covering the magnetic/geochemistry anomaly. No sites were located in the exploration area and exploration can proceed. A final report is expected in the coming months. December 31, 2006 Preparation for a scout drilling programme over the platinum anomaly covering the air-magnetic targets within E69/1963 was continuing. Previous surface sampling has outlined the presence of elevated platinum geochemistry over an area measuring 2.5km by 600m with assays up to 8ppb against a background of 1 to 2 ppb. Environmental permitting is completed and Aboriginal heritage clearance is underway. Within E69/1964, a broad-spaced (100m x 40m) surface geochemical survey over air-magnetic targets was carried out . Results failed to delineate any areas of anomalous geochemistry. An assessment of the suitability of the sampling technique used is being made ahead of a decision on the next phase of investigation on this tenement. In addition, the Company relinquished E69/1962 on Nov 17/06. |
