Reported that 2007 reverse circulation drilling failed to intersect significant mineralization of the Goldsworthy type. Geophysical interpretation of geological and geophysical data in the March 2008 Quarter suggests the tenement has limited potential for economic iron mineralization.

A total of 2,168m of reverse circulation drilling was completed in 2007, with 43 holes drilled to depths ranging from 6m to 114m. The drilling tested concealed gravity anomalies and potential subcrop CID. None of these holes encountered hematitic iron ore of the Mt Goldsworthy type. However, one of the holes established the presence of CID, making an intersection of 3m at 47% Fe.

Reported that the 3,000m RC drilling program was planned principally to test concealed iron ore targets identified through reconnaissance gravity surveys, geological mapping and regional structural interpretation. High priority iron ore targets had been identified where interpreted iron formations exhibit gravity highs and magnetic lows along favourable regional scale faults. Other drilling targets in the area were considered to have potential for nickel-copper deposits similar to the nearby Highway deposit (recorded 37Mt with 115,000t nickel, 44,000t copper). Some targets are also considered to have potential for gold and/or platinum deposits.
