Latest Information June 30, 2005 Reported that it has not yet located the the bedrock source of gold-bearing till and the various types of gold-bearing boulders. A new geological model presumes that remnants of a diamondiferous Archean lithospheric root could possibly be preserved at depth under an extended Archean crust, and may have been sampled by the Wolf Lake lamprophyre dyke. A lamprophyre dyke and two carbonatite bodies, of similar deep-seated alkaline affinity, have been discovered on the Grimsthorpe Property. Based also on the fact that kimberlite indicator minerals have been discovered down-ice from the property, the company was evaluating the kimberlite/diamond potential of its property. January 31, 2005 No exploration on the property as the company is focussed on the other property (Parkman). August 31, 2001 Two drills were drilled in a fan beneath a showing and did not return significant gold values. 12 additional claims were staked. |
