Anglo Pacific Group announced an initial potentially open pittable coal resource estimate for the Discovery Section of the Panorama coal project located in the Groundhog Coalfield northwest British Columbia, Canada. Initial NI43-101 & JORC compliant indicated coal resource of 13.7 million tonnes, inferred coal resource of 24.1 million tonnes and a NI43-101 compliant
speculative resource of 70.2 million tonnes at the Discovery Section of the Panorama coal project. Historical studies indicate a low volatile anthracite to semi-anthracite coal which washes down to an ash of 10% and a calorific value of around 7,500Kcal/kg.
Anglo Pacific Group announced an initial coal resource estimate of 90.95 million tonnes at the Trefi coal project in northeast
British Columbia, Canada. The resource estimate is based upon the drilling and exploration work undertaken by Gulf Canada between 1980 and 1982 and then by Anglo Pacific Group itself in 2008 and 2009. Highlights of the report include an initial underground C-Seam coal resource of 90.95 million tonnes and measured and indicated resource of 39.35 million tonnes.
West Hawk Development Corp. have provided an update to shareholders and other stakeholders, regarding the company’s business and operations made in connection with its reinstatement of the trading of its shares on the TSX Venture Exchange. The company submitted its application for reinstatement of trading to the TSX on June 30, 2009 following a lengthy and comprehensive compliance review during which the company’s shares have been suspended from trading. Trading is expected to recommence on July 15, 2009. In the course of its review, the TSX has identified deficiencies in the company’s disclosure record and other occasions on which the Company was not in compliance with TSX policies. As a result, the company has been put on notice by the Exchange to comply with TSX policies in the future.
