Latest Information August 31, 2008 A review of the data and a field examination of the property determined that no further work was warranted on this property. Further work in 2007 defined the soil anomalies over a strike length of 2.8 kilometers and preliminary interpretation of the geophysics suggests the main soil anomaly is associated with a 2 km open-ended strong resistivity anomaly. In summer 2007, geological mapping, soil geochemical surveys, Induced Polarization and magnetometer surveys were conducted. In 2006, line cutting and soil geochemical sampling was completed to validate the previous work. In 1991, exploration by Cogema Canada Ltd., included mapping, prospecting, rock, soil and stream sediment geochemistry, as well as ground VLF-EM and magnetic geophysical surveys. The most significant finding was the discovery of Au-Cu showings on Walker Ridge, which correlated well with strong Au-Cu soil anomalies on the north and south slopes of the ridge. |
