Property NewsSeptember 30, 2004 Drilling has commenced on the property. The programme is designed to follow-up on the first pass reconnaissance reverse circulation drill programme (1200 metres) completed in April and May, 2004. During the first-pass programme, drilling contractors encountered difficult ground conditions caused by the oxidised and fractured geology, as such, several of the originally planned drill holes were abandoned. Drill crews were not also able to initiate drilling in selected areas of the project due to on-going mining operations within the open-pit. July 31, 2004 The company reported that further preparations are underway to initiate a second phase of diamond drill work on the project, with drilling expected to be initiated on the summer. The drilling will be carried out using large diameter diamond drilling, firstly to verify earlier RC drilling results and to improve recoveries and also to test the major gold bearing structure at depth. May 31, 2004 The company said the pass drill results highlight broad zones of disseminated gold mineralisation. A Phase-2 follow-up drill program is planned.
