Diamonds North Resources announced copper-silver mineralization from drill core and trench samples at the Hepburn property in the Northwest Territories. Regional exploration by Diamonds North has also identified additional copper-silver mineralization along strike for 1 km and in stratigraphically similar rocks 1.5 km south of the historic drill holes. In addition, 5 separate geophysical magnetic anomalies with copper-silver potential have been identified over a 12.5 km long area, potentially defining a new large scale copper-silver district. Drill hole 2 intersected 4.71m of 2.4% copper and 99 g/T silver including a 2.07m zone with 4.11% copper and 203.4 g/T silver. Trench 2 sampled similar rocks which yielded 1.5% copper over 2m approximately 1 km west of Trench 1. Trench 3 also sampled similar rocks which yielded 2.5% copper approximately 200m from Trench 1.
A total of 21,000 line km airborne geophysics was completed, with 10 prospects evaluated with 64 rock samples.

A total of 21 geophysical targets over a span of about 70 kilometres have been tested by drilling on the Hepburn property in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Although kimberlite was not intersected in these drill holes, numerous high priority targets remain to be tested.
