December 20, 2007 A five RC hole drill program had commenced below old workings at Hiawatha where grab samples grading up to 20g/t have been previously reported. These holes targeted moderate chargeability responses from a recent 3D IP survey carried out for Icon plus associated elevated basemetal geochemistry from Niton surveying and rock chip sampling up to 20 g/t gold. Assay results are expected early in the new year.
September 30, 2007 Processing and interpretation of the 3D IP completed earlier in the year,
has identified low tenor broad chargeable zones which may relate to pyritic alteration adjacent to historical gold workings.
May 18, 2007 The company is drilling on the property which is scheduled to start in mid June.Three areas of old gold workings were covered with a 3D-IP survey at Hiawatha earlier in the year and the central zone recorded elevated chargeabilities. A Niton soil survey is scheduled for early June to further refine the drill targets.
As of Mar 31//07, the 3D-IP survey has been completed with an anomalous chargeable zone defined in the central
part of the licence.
In 2006, 3D IP survey is planned for December, to ensure minimal disruption to the crop farming within the licence. Follow up drilling is planned for late summer – early autumn ’07.
