November 18, 2009 Pure Nickel announced that Manicouagan Mineral has made the required option payments and exploration expenditures to earn
a 50% interest in the HPM/Forgues property.
December 18, 2008 Announced the final assay results from its 2008 diamond drill program. Complete assay results have been received for the diamond drill holes drilled during 2008 (HPM-08-01 to 17). Hole HPM-08-17 intersected several zones of semi-massive to massive sulphides including 7.2 metres grading 1.44% nickel, 0.69% copper and 736 ppm cobalt.
November 6, 2008 Announced additional diamond drill results from its Barre de Fer Prospect. Hole HPM-08-11 intersected 9.54 metres grading 1.12% nickel, 0.23% copper and 528 ppm cobalt (between 101.46 to 111.00 metres) including 3.15 metres grading 1.91% nickel, 0.37% copper and 842 ppm cobalt (between 101.46 to 104.61 metres).
