Reported that results have now been received for detailed follow-up sampling of certain minor tributaries of the Fandiavo River. A tight clustering of samples with high ilmenite counts was outlined in a minor ephemeral tributary in the upper reaches of the drainage basin. The restricted distribution of the positive samples coupled with the ilmenite surface textures strongly suggest a local point source in the form of a proximal kimberlite pipe.

A Phase II diamond exploration program was underway and focus on reconnaissance and follow-up stream sampling in key target areas, with a view toward locating and identifying further kimberlitic indicator minerals such as ilmenite, chromite, pyrope garnet and chrome diopside.
December 20, 2006
Fugro Airborne Surveys have been contracted to undertake a detailed low-level, helicopter-borne magnetic and radiometric survey of several key kimberlite targets in the license area. The survey will comprise a total of approximately 5,000 line km of flying at low altitude, utilising 100 m line spacing. In all, it is anticipated to cover an area in excess of 400 sq. km., including both key areas where kimberlitic indicator minerals have been recovered as well as a pronounced gold anomaly.
