Peak Resources reported June 09 quarter results from the Igunga and Lupa Tanzanian gold projects. At Igunga a program of trenching was completed within a gold in soil anomalous zone. Broad spaced soil sampling (300m x 300m) with reconnaissance geological mapping has been completed within two other tenements in the Igunga area. This has resulted in the partial delineation of a number of gold anomalies which will require further work. The Lupa gold project is subject to ongoing evaluation and assessment of data with a decision to be made on drilling of the prospect follow field review in July.

Announced that sufficient results have been received to highlight a gold anomalous trend (open ended) extending for approximately 500 m with peak gold in soil 164 ppb. Geological mapping indicates that gold anomalism appears to be spatially associated with mapped minor subcrop comprising sulphidic iron formations.
