Gossan Resources Limited has been advised by Process Research Ortech (PRO) of favourable results from its Phase I bench scale testing of the Zuliani Process for extraction of magnesium metal from dolomite. A key finding of the final PRO Report for Phase I was that 98.9% of the magnesium contained within calcined dolomite samples was volatilized under experimental conditions at the desired temperature range. Volatilization, in this case, measures the proportion of magnesium metal that has been released from the calcined dolomite and represents the likely highest possible recovery rate. PRO conducted 8 bench scale tests in Phase I.

Received a final National Instrument 43-101 Report that establishes a substantial resource of high purity dolomite at its Inwood Magnesium Project. The resource estimate focuses on the flat lying Fisher Branch dolomite formation which outcrops on the Inwood property with little or no overburden and averages a true thickness of about 12 m. Measured resource is estimated at 28.8 Mt grading 21.15% MgO and 30.91% CaO. Indicated resource is estimated at 5.1 Mt, grading 21.40% MgO and 30.66% CaO. Inferred resources total 131.2 Mt, grading 21.64% MgO and 30.51% CaO.
