Latest Information June 30, 2007 Reported a Phase I reverse-circulation drill program was started in April and completed in June, 2007. Twelve reverse circulation drill holes were completed for a total of 6,212 feet. December 31, 2006 Reported that the drilling program had been completed. The program targeted both sedimentary-hosted (Carlin-style) mineralization hosted in Paleozic lithologies, and epithermal mineralization hosted in the Tertiary volcanic rocks. The best hole to date (100 ft. @ 0.022 oz/t gold) is within the volcanic rocks at Chem Hill, a topographic outlier located approximately 2,200 feet outboard of the main range front. December 31, 2006 Reported that during 2006 the company staked 46 additional ICP claims, bringing the project total to 102 claims. Drill hole targeting work included collection of an additional 408 soil samples, bringing the database total to 858. The primary target was a prominent northwest trending structural corridor which extended 2,402 metres from the range out into the alluvial covered pediment. This target was between the silicified mineralized rocks on Chem Hill and the weakly mineralized (up to 675 ppb Au) carbonate Paleozoic rocks. Phase I of RC drilling was in progress. |
