April 21, 2011 Axiom announced that its Solomon Islands joint venture company has been granted a Prospecting Licence over the Takata land in Isabel Province which was issued by the Minister on 15 April 2011 under the Mine and Minerals Act of the Solomon Islands.
October 20, 2010 Axiom reported to have signed an exclusive option agreement to acquire an 80% interest over the Isabel nickel deposit project in Honiara. The trustees of the Kolosori and Bemusule people are the customary landowners of the Isabel and San Jorge islands in the Solomon Islands where the deposits are located.
