Because the exploration results weren't satisfactory the company didn't plan any work during 2005.

It was reported that in 2003, the company completed 27 drill holes to test 6 separate targets and 21 holes intersected Au mineralization with mineralized intervals ranging between 5ft to 50ft with Au grades between 0.015 and 0.121 oz/ton. 4 separate zones were established on the property based on clusters of Au-bearing drill holes and geophysical targets. By the end of 2003, approximately 8,000ft of drilling had been completed. During 2004, 27,000ft of drilling was completed to further test the targets developed in 2003.
October 13, 2004
Released initial results from the drilling program on the Island Mountain gold project. The objective of the program was to delineate one or more low-grade, bulk-mineable orebodies with an average grade of 1.0 g/t Au or better. Results are from three target areas and include the Northwest zone, Southeast Coleman Canyon and Southwest Ridge. Interpretation of results from the Northwest zone suggests that it is about 10 m thick and dips shallowly to the northwest.
