Twin Mining plans to incorporate a new subsidiary, which will acquire all of the Company's diamond exploration assets, the Brodeur property on Baffin Island, Nunavut, and the Torngat property in Nunavik, Quebec, Canada. Twin Mining has retained M Partners Inc. as exclusive lead agent to secure financing for a new diamond exploration venture, which will increase the visibility and unlock the value of Twin Mining's gold and diamond assets. In other news, Atlanta Gold Corp., the wholly-owned subsidiary of Twin Mining, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the U.S. Forest Service, outlining the procedures and responsibilities of the U.S. Forest Service and Atlanta Gold for the preparation of the environmental impact statement. The MOU is a prerequisite to obtaining a mine construction permit and ultimately building the 100,000-ounce-per-year Atlanta gold mine.

Fugro Airborne Surveys performed with the MIDAS II™ high resolution system, completed a 14,642 line kilometer airborne magnetometer survey covering approximately 2,000 sq. km. Heavy mineral anomalies were used to select claim groups for the aeromag survey. On that basis, 11 high priority survey targets were identified and selected for the aeromag survey on the Vista claim block. In addition a Reverse Circulation (RC) drill program tested 11 (14%) of the 87 drill targets detected by the 2004 airborne magnetometer survey. Drill cutting and till samples have arrived at SGS Lakefield Research for analysis.

The company's electron microprobe analyses of minerals picked from the 1,200 till (soil) samples collected in 2004 from the Vista claims confirms that all 15 reported clusters of kimberlite-indicator minerals contain grains with chemistry indicative of conditions for high diamond preservation and/or of diamond stability field origin. In addition, microprobe results from several samples collected from the Jackson Inlet East claims have raised the 2005 drilling priority of three clusters containing 15 of the 78 magnetic anomalies detected by the Fugro Midas II airborne survey on the Jackson Inlet East and West claim blocks. These latest results confirm that the Vista claim blocks constitute a significant expansion of Twin's Brodeur diamond project. The Jul/Aug 05 exploration program aeromagnetic survey on Vista and drilling of 20 to 30 targets located on the Jackson Inlet claim blocks.
