Murchison Metals reported that, as indicated previously, mining operations at the Jack Hills iron ore mine will cease in late December 2011 in accordance with the five year Stage 1 mine plan.
Murchison Metals announced mineral resource update at the Jack Hills Iron Ore Project located in Western Australia. Overall Mineral Resources at the project now total 3.22 billion tonnes at 32.3% iron including an increase in the Direct Shipping Material component to 139Mt at an average grade
56.6% iron.
