Property NewsSeptember 16, 2009 Mundo Minerals provided an update on its exploration, development and production activities in Brazil and Peru. Further to previous announcements regarding encouraging results from initial drilling at the Crista deposit, located 1.6 km north of the Engenho Gold Mine, the company advised that additional resource drilling is continuing which has confirmed the presence of a high-grade mineralised zone with the potential for initial open pit and subsequent underground development. At Jaqueira project, drilling is scheduled to commence on 20 September and continue until February 2010.
December 31, 2008 Reported that drill targets have been established and approvals have been granted to allow drilling June 30, 2008 Mundo Minerals completed planning with respect to the first round of
drilling to test mineralisation while at the same time initiating site access and conducting channel sampling.
Significant assay results received from these channel samples include 10.48g/t and 10.07g/t within the Jaqueira workings, 6.83g/t at Palmar, west of Jaqueira and 63.5g/t, 6.15g/t and 7.56g/t at Umbauba, south of Jaqueira along the same trend. |
