September 11, 2012 Midland Exploration Inc. commenced a prospection program on Eleonore and James Bay Gold, Canada.
June 3, 2009 Midland Exploration announced positive interpretation results from its targeted winter exploration program intended to
identify geophysical anomalies associated with gold bearing outcrops at the James Bay project in Quebec, Canada.
December 31, 2008 Reported that exploration with Agnico-Eagle resulted in finding several gold bearing outcrops with values as high as 9.1 g/t Au. Prospecting along aeromagnetic anomalies high has led also to the discovery of a base metal and precious metal showing returning 6.1% Cu, 0.26 g/t Au and 30.8 g/t Ag. In conjunction with the prospecting program, Midland has collected 317 basal till samples on the Lasalle and Galinée claim blocks to explain known first-order gold, arsenic and antimony lake-bottom anomalies that were historically found. Among them ten till samples returned gold values ranging from 50 to 1850 ppb Au in both Lasalle and Galinée
In August 2008, a five-person geological and prospecting crew was mobilized to the LG-4 region to undertake reconnaissance mapping and prospecting. Guided by the results of the magnetic and radiometric airborne survey, geologists and prospectors collected a total of 183 grab samples among which several gold and base metals anomalous values were revealed. Prospecting and sampling 700 m east of the original Golden Idol Showing, selected grab samples collected 60 metres apart returned 0.33 g/t Au and 0.09% Zn; and 0.09 g/t Au and 0.21% Zn respectively. The East Golden Idol Showing is also hosted in chloritized and silicified metasediments
