Consolidated Minerals announced updated resources at its Woodie Woodie manganese project and at its Kambalda nickel operations in Australia. Proven and probable reserves have increased by 175,328 tonnes to 8.71 million tonnes at 41.5% Mn at Woolie Woolie. Proven and probable reserves at Kambalda have been reduced by 6,770 tonnes of contained nickel to 10,141 contained nickel tonnes.
Announced an update on the Kambalda nickel operations, Western Australia. Results indicate that nickel grades within several mining blocks in the central section at East Alpha, which had been scheduled to make a significant contribution to 2006/07 production, are lower than expected.

The company announced the successful commissioning of its new ore sorter and an exploration
update including lling results and the discovery of a potentially new mineralized zone to the west of its Beta Hunt mine. The on-site ore sorter was commissioned late last month and has been in continuous operation for the past week, with initial results confirming its ability to achieve a dramatic uplift in ore grade and reduction in ore volumes
through waste rejection. The new facility has already achieved an upgrade in lower grade ore of less than 1% to
over 3% and will reduce overall run-of-mine (ROM) ore volumes by 30%. Drilling down-plunge of the 40 Surface returned a total of 25 nickel sulphide intersections, with best results including 13m @ 6.0% Ni and 7m @ 12.0% Ni. In addition, regional exploration drilling to test the conventional geological model of the Kambalda Dome has
returned significant preliminary results from an area 200m west of the Beta Hunt mine, outside of the main
mineralized trend. A vertical fan of 3 drill holes returned intersections of massive sulphides, with indicative visual
results of 2.8m @ 3.0% Ni and 1.3m @ 3.5% Ni.
