February 23, 2012 Virginia Energy Resources Inc. released its Quarterly report. On the Karpinka uranium property a soil sampling program was completed in 2009 and a gravity survey in 2010.
May 12, 2009 Forum Uranium Corp. announce that it has entered into a 50/50 Joint Venture Agreement with Santoy Resources Ltd. on 8,151 hectares of land approximately 30 kilometres southwest of the Key Lake minesite. Forum, as Operator of the joint venture and Santoy recently staked part of Santoy’s former Karpinka project, located at the northwest end of Forum’s Key Lake Road project.
December 31, 2007 The planned field work program was initiated and included boulder, soil and
lake sediment sampling on the properties, detailed prospecting, airborne geophysical surveys and additional
analysis of previous airborne geophysical surveys. Final results and analysis are still pending.
In 2007, a TEMPEST Airborne survey was completed which has outlined conductivity trends associated with the Wollaston –Mujadic boundary and what is interpreted to be basal Aphebian sediments which ring interpreted
Archean Domal features.
