mineralization seen at the nearby Kensington ore body. June 24, 2010 Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation announced that production has commenced ahead of schedule at its Kensington Gold Mine in Alaska. The Company anticipates that Kensington will produce 50,000 ounces of gold during the remainder of 2010 and will average 125,000 ounces of gold annually over the mine’s initial 12.5 year life. February 3, 2010 Coeur d’Alene Mines announced the discovery of a new high-grade vein system at its Kensington gold mine. The new structure, named the Kimberly, is a gold-bearing vein system exposed in the decline from the mill to the Kensington mine, within the large exploration district Coeur controls around the mine, located 45 miles northwest of Juneau, Alaska.
