Property NewsAugust 23, 2010 NGEx Resources reported the results of follow-up drilling at its recently discovered Aradaib prospect on the Kerkebet property located in northwestern Eritrea. The recent drill program included three holes around ARD-10-01, and an additional scout hole, on a newly found occurrence of gold mineralized baritic and ferruginous volcanic rock, 1.7 kilometres to the south. In Hole ARD-10-03 returned 13.0m with 5.59% zinc, 3.31% copper, 1.85g/t gold and 46g/t silver from a 20.4m intersection of massive sulfide and stringer mineralization. Hole ARD-10-04 drilled 4.0m grading 0.31% zinc, 3.49% copper, 0.68 g/t gold and 38g/t silver from massive sulfides at 108m and 7.0m at 1.70% zinc, 2.70% copper, 0.82g/t gold and 26g/t silver from 118m. October 29, 2008 The drill program, based on surface geology and geochemistry, tested the outcropping gossan-baritealunite horizon over a strike length of 3.5km. Holes intersected gossan as well as disseminated and
massive sulfides with strongly anomalous Cu, Zn, Pb, Au, Ag, and Ba in all holes. The best intersection (DDH KOK-005) returned 5.1m of 1.69% Zn within 14.0m grading 0.94% Zn from 33.9m. This hole also returned 2.0m of 1.14gpt Au from 28m. Drillhole KOK-008 returned 1.23gpt Au over 3.0m. Copper results ranged from 0.1 to 0.3% in the oxide zone and 0.1 to 0.6% where present in the sulfide zone. From the drill information it was established that the Koken massive sulfide horizon dips at approximately 15o to the north and consists of multiple sulfide layers with a collective thickness of 3 to 15m. June 19, 2008 A new gold and base metal anomalous massive sulfide gossan trend in the Koken area was discovered. Rock chip analyses of more than 80 gossan outcrop samples from the Koken trend returned strongly anomalous values in gold, copper, zinc, and lead in the majority of samples, with peak assay values of 36.9g/t for gold, 4337 ppm copper, 6101 ppm zinc and 5633 ppm lead. The rock samples cover the Koken prospect strike length of approximately 4.5km.
