Mwana Africa PLC has signed an option agreement with Signature Metals Limited for the sale of its entire interest in the Konongo gold exploration asset in Ghana. The sale follows a substantial reduction in the company’s exploration activities in Ghana, as announced on 22nd October 2008.
Reported that resource development drilling has been completed on the oxide mineralisation discovered at Boabedroo South. Also reported that an external mining consultant has completed a preliminary calculation of an inferred resource for the recently drilled Boabedroo South target area.
